Do you want to know more about the planning system? Do you want to know what's going on in the world of planning? Can we help you to keep one step ahead?

We offer training and development for planners and other professionals, councillors, community and voluntary organisations and individuals on a wide range of topics which is offered flexibly to suit your needs.

We'll do all the organising for you or come into your offices – if you'd like to ask others to join you that's fine by us. Training can be carried out in half days, full days or even away days. Delegate rates start around £60 per person for a day's training. What's the big hot potato topic in your area? Let us know and we will develop a workshop using local policies and case studies from your area.

Nitty gritty

Charisma has RTPI Learning Partner status. We have worked collaboratively with Anglia Ruskin University and the Rural Community Council of Essex. We have a network of different people who know what they are talking about that we can bring in on a wide range of subjects. Additionally, Ann is an associate lecturer with the Open University and as part of that role has a diploma in teaching and learning and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. As well as giving talks to students at Anglia Ruskin University, Writtle College and London South Bank University, Ann acts as an RTPI conference chair and presenter. But don't let that put you off – Ann is approachable and friendly and down to earth.
