A new permitted development regime for householders will come into force on 1 October 2008. There are significant changes to the existing legislation and this will affect whether some extensions, outbuildings and alterations to roofs on houses will require a planning application to be submitted or not. Charisma is ideally placed to advise householders wanting to know what they can do to their homes without applying for planning permission under the new system.
